A few months ago, I switched teams at Automattic from Happiness Hiring at over to the Knock Knock WHOIS There (.blog) registry team. It has been a great change and I’m loving sinking my teeth into the new role.

Now that .blog has officially launched (as of November last year), my team had a chance to get together for a quick meetup in San Francisco, CA, prior to heading over to NamesCon, a domain conference in Las Vegas. Going to San Francisco is still exciting for me since, despite working for Automattic for quite some time, I’ve only been twice – which also means I’ve only actually seen our office twice!  Continue reading SFO > LAS

January was my Month o’ Travel. I was home for roughly 10 days, which is nothing to some others I work with, but quite a long time for me.

The month started off with my first trip to Las Vegas, for Blogworld, where I helped staff the Happiness Bar. Happiness Bars are always a ton of fun since you actually get to do what you do normally—teach others about WordPress—but in person. Continue reading Nomaduary
