About the picture taken on January 12th, “Weeping Yogi.” I bought this at Two Buttons, a shop in Frenchtown, NJ, surprisingly owned by the woman who wrote Eat, Pray, Love. I’d never seen one of these before, but loved the idea.
The Balinese weeping yogi is a figure you can use while meditating, to share your worries and sadnesses with. By rubbing the yogi’s back, he takes on your troubles for you, releasing you of your burdens. Sweet, right?
