    Before my break, I used to have “Crossfit” as a task on my to-do list every day. Not because I would forget, but because it was a time commitment I needed to account for. My training was, and is, a personal priority for me. Planning allowed me to make sure I could carve out time to focus on my training most days.

    About two months ago, I started regularly getting acupuncture treatments. My physical therapist suggested it to me. We’ve been working on a few chronic injuries – left elbow, wrist, and knee – that have improved, but aren’t at the level either of us would like.

    First things first, there should be a little asterisk next to vegetarian. I stopped eating meat – as in, anything with eyes – when I was thirteen years old. Yup, it’s been a whopping eighteen years. My vegetarianism would be graduating high school if it were a person.
